When can I get Earshelf?

Earshelf is not on the App Store yet. When it is, this site will link to it.

Is Earshelf free?

Yes, it will be free to download. The diary, seven day plan, queue, suggestions, notebook, renewal review and money tools are free, and so are widgets, Apple Watch, import and export.

What do Pro and Patron add?

Pro adds fourteen and thirty day plans, price, hold and release alerts, full statistics and more than one library card. Patron includes Pro, alternate app icons and your own cover photos. Both are yearly subscriptions, and the App Store shows the price for your country.

Does Earshelf play audiobooks?

No. Earshelf is a diary and planner. Keep listening in the app you already use, then log your time in Earshelf.

Can Earshelf see my Audible, Libby or Spotify library?

No. Earshelf can't read those catalogs. Availability comes from what you share and record, with links to check each service. Prices come from Apple Books and your own records.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, and Earshelf has no ads, analytics or tracking. Your library stays on your device and in your private iCloud database when sync is on.

Which devices will Earshelf work on?

iPhone with iOS 26 or later and iPad with iPadOS 26 or later. The Apple Watch app, for watchOS 26 or later, shows your current listens and loans.
