Log audiobooks, pay less.
Earshelf keeps a diary of every audiobook you listen to, with separate half-star ratings for the story, the narration and the production. It knows how long you have left at your speed. And when you want the next one, it puts every way you can get it in order, cheapest first, from the library cards and subscriptions you already have.
The first thing you see is the book you're listening to and how long is left at your speed, with buttons that log 15 or 30 minutes. Under it are the loans due back, the holds about to land, the credits about to expire and the Spotify hours you have left this month.
Want to listen, Listening, Finished and Did not finish, plus shelves of your own. Every book keeps its editions, so you can compare two narrations of the same story side by side. Narrators get pages of their own with your average score for their narration, and you can hide AI narration everywhere with one switch.
Search Apple Books or scan the barcode on a printed book in a shop. Earshelf shows what you already own, what your library has, what is included in Spotify, Everand or Audible Plus for you, and the lowest price it has seen. It also says when a credit is worth spending and when cash is cheaper.
Books and hours this year, your goal, the time a faster speed saved you, and a yearly recap you can share. The recap includes roughly how much your library card saved you.
The diary, the shelves, ratings, the where-to-listen list, loans, holds, credits, widgets and the Apple Watch app are free, with no time limit. Earshelf Pro adds price alerts, the full listening statistics and more than one library card. Earshelf Patron adds alternate app icons and your own cover photos.
Earshelf has no advertising, analytics or tracking, and you don't need an account. What you enter stays on your device and in your own iCloud account.
